Well, I never knew I would be writing a post like this.
Honestly, I wish I wasn’t. I’ve only been stuck at home for 3 days and I’m going a little stir crazy. I am usually one to go out and about on the weekends, even if it’s just to get out of the house. I’m not a big movie and TV watcher, so this has been interesting.
So, I’ve come up with ideas along with some products you can order online to make this time a little more bearable. Maybe you’ve already done some of these, maybe not! I hope these activities help you feel a little bit better about the situation were all in.
Organize: This could be many areas of your house or apartment. Organize things you normally do not have time to organize. Some ideas are your closet, dresser, bathroom cabinet, kitchen cupboards, coat closet, under the bed, laundry closet, junk drawers, etc.
Have an at-home Spa Day: Throw some Epsom salts in the bath along with your favorite bubble bath, or shower gel if you don’t have a bubble bath! Light a candle, play some relaxing music or youtube relaxing rain! Break out your favorite face mask or make a DIY mask! Take care of your skin! After your bath, apply lotion, face treatments, floss your teeth, etc.
Redecorate: This would be a great time to redecorate or rearrange a room in your living space! There are so many online shops you can find cute decor or accent pieces on. If you don’t want to redecorate a whole room, add a new piece, candle, blanket, anything to spice it up! It’s always fun to add something new to a space.
Do Your Nails at Home: I know this is hard for a lot of us. We love going to the salon and having someone do it for us. But, this is the best time to try doing your own dip, manicure, or pedicure! I purchase most of my nail supplies on Amazon! I do my own dip nails at home and it turns out great. If you don’t know-how, look up youtube videos, there are so many helpful tutorials.
I hope you all stay healthy and happy. I would love to know what you’re doing during this crazy time. Connect with me on IG @cierrarobinblogs
