It seems like everyone always has some huge new years resolution about life or health.
Today I want to share with you my resolutions in beauty and lifestyle for the new year. These aren’t going to be anything catastrophic, but rather, reasonable and achievable goals! Lifestyle Resolutions
- Drink more water. This could be beauty and/or lifestyle. Water is so crucial for your health and health of your skin. I need to get better at drinking more. I usually do not even drink more than 2 cups a day. I recently got a Pink YETI Rambler for Christmas. Its 30oz and keeps drinks cold ALL day! I’ve been making my own lemon infused water and have been using the Yeti all the time!
- Less eating out. This one will be hard for me. Working as a full time teacher takes a lot out of me! By the time I’m done, I just want to eat dinner, not cook it.
- Walk more. This is for me and my dog! Walking is great for not only your body, but your mind! I battle with anxiety and nothing is better than exercising . But I don’t care for working out, I can handle walking..
Beauty Resolutions/GOALS
- Take care of my nails. The past few years I’ve totally ignored my nails. But I recently realized how much better it feels when they are done. Whether its going to the salon, painting them at home, or using fake nails from the drugstore. All of these ways make me feel more put together!
- Grow my hair. This last year I cut off a good amount of my hair. I did it for the health of my hair. Chopping off the dead ends for sure made my hair feel healthier, but I miss it being longer. My hair is a medium length now but I would like it a little longer.
- Wear my hair DOWN more. I always put my hair up. In a bun, pony, braid, you name it. I find a way for it to be out of my face. Now, there’s nothing wrong with wearing your hair up, but I think I do it too often. My scalp can get sensitive when I wear it up too much. So my goal is to try and wear it down a few times a week at least.
