My Hair Wash Routine

April 5, 2020

This post is sponsored by Not Your Mother’s Haircare. Like always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting brands that help support Cierra Robin Blogs!

How many times a week do you wash your hair? 3, 4, 5, 7 times a week? No matter how much you wash your hair, you need a good routine.

I’ve been using Not Your Mother’s Royal Honey & Kalahari Desert Melon line of shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner! This line of product smells amazing, is 98% natural, and affordable!

Not Your Mother’s Haircare has 98% naturally derived ingredients in all of their products. They contain NO SULFATES SURFACTANTS, NO SILICONES, NO PHTHALATES, NO PARABENS, NO GLUTEN, and NO DYES.

Typically I wash my hair 4-7 times per week, depending on how quickly it looks or feels “dirty”. I start in the shower with wet hair, I usually use 3-4 pumps of shampoo, lather, and rinse. I love the Royal Honey & Kalahari Desert Melon line because it smells amazing! I have tried the other scents too, and love them! If you want your shower to turn into a spa, you need to try this scent.

I then apply a generous amount of conditioner, I usually need a lot no matter what product I use as my hair gets tangled easily. I let the conditioner sit on my hair while I wash my face/body. Then I rinse well.

After my shower, I towel dry my hair and spray in the leave-in conditioner on the bottom half of my hair. Usually, I spray the product into my hands and then apply so I can tell exactly where it’s going. The ends of your hair are usually the most damaged/dry.  They need the best care. This stuff smells amazing as well! Once my hair is dried, it feels clean, soft, and healthy! It also smells delicious!

You can find Not Your Mother’s Haircare at most drugstore stores! When I’m out and about, I usually pick them up at CVS, Target or Walmart! You can also shop for their products online here.

I’m so excited I got to share with you my current hair wash routine. Let me know if you try these products, I know you will love them!

XOXO,

CR
