Makeup can be expensive. As much as I love Sephora, I also love drugstore makeup that is good yet affordable! Here is a list of my personal faves! Photos below are clickable
L’OREAL Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation- This foundation is by far my favorite drug store foundation. I typically have oily skin, so you would think I wouldn’t like any type of foundation with “glow” in the title. However, I set this foundation with a powder, so it doesn’t look greasy. The finish looks natural. I find a lot of drug store foundations can tend to look cakey and dry, not this one!
L’OREAL Lash Paradise Mascara- Ok, I swear I’m not sponsored by L’Oreal. I love this mascara. I would say it’s comparable if not BETTER to the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara. My favorite part about this mascara is it gives length and volume, not just one or the other!
Real Techniques Makeup Sponges- I used to use beauty blenders, and I loved them. I still think they’re great. But I hated having to throw them away when they wouldn’t come completely clean. I know how many bacteria can grow on a sponge, so I wanted to change them out regularly. I choose real technique sponges for multiple reasons. The price, the flat side and skinny point, and the material. It’s my favorite makeup sponge!
NYX Butter Gloss- This gloss is perfect for winter, its moisturizing but has pigment. It’s not too sticky and it smells delicious! (like candy). They have tons of color options as well.
You don’t need to spend a fortune to get good quality makeup! The products above are great. That sums up my favorites from the drug store that I would recommend to anyone! I hope you found something new to try. Come back for a new post soon!
