Everyone wants clear, blemish free skin. But it’s not always easy!
I went through years of having stubborn breakouts and troubled skin. I went to a dermatologist often and was put on several acne medications. Years later, my acne has calmed down and I am blemish free! I have found a few items that have helped me keep my skin clear!
Nowadays I rarely have breakouts. My skin is clear as long as I take care of it. I’m very serious about my skincare routine, I never miss a night!
Before I share a few of my products that I use, remember, skincare is different for everyone. What worked for me, may not work for you. But, what did work for me, may be helpful for you and worth a try!
My first tip is ALWAYS wash your face at night to take off any dirt and makeup from the day. I never ever miss this step. Your skin renews and heals at night, so it need nourishment!
To take off a heavy day of makeup I use Kopari Organic Coconut Melt . To do so, I take about a nickel size amount and rub between my hands to melt. Then, I apply it directly to my face and eyes to remove all makeup. The makeup will melt. I then take a washcloth, wet it with warm water and gently remove the makeup and coconut melt. This will remove all of your makeup gently and effectively!
For everyday use, I use Kate Somerville Anti Bac Acne Clearing Lotion . This is a moisturizing yet effective lotion specifically made for acne prone skin. I use this lotion daily in the morning before my makeup. This product has been my holy grail for the past few years. It doesn’t dry out your skin like other topical acne medications. Even using it daily, my skin doesn’t get dry!
For a spot treatment or mask, I swear by Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment. This treatment is very strong but GREAT for acne and blackheads! I use it about once a week on my problem areas. It pulls all the gunk out!
I know how frustrating troubled skin can be! I have tried tons of acne products and found so many that did not work! These products I have found to be the most helpful for my skin, and I hope they are helpful for you as well.
