Eyebrows are a funny thing we often forget about. But eyebrows are a huge part of our look and expressions! I used to get my eyebrows waxed, and still occasionally will, but there are simple and easy ways to keep your eyebrows freshly groomed at home!
Every month or so, when I notice my eyebrows growing out, I groom them from home! I have a few secrets, are you ready?
Tools Needed ( Links ):
- Small scissors or hair trimming scissors ( Facial Hair Scissors)
- Eyebrow Razors (Eyebrow Razor Pack of 6)
- Eyebrow Spoolie ( Eyebrow Brush)
- Tweezers- Under $10 ! (Revlon Gold Series Tweezers)
- Magnifying Mirror (15X Magnifying Mirror)
- Cetaphil Lotion (Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream)
First, start by removing all of your makeup so you can see all of the hairs. I highly suggest using a magnifying mirror so you can see every single hair! Once all of your makeup is removed, groom your eyebrows in an upwards motion with the spoolie.
Next,ย use your small scissors to trim the hair that is overgrown. You can tell what is overgrown by seeing the hairs above your natural eyebrow shape. Try to follow the natural shape of your eyebrow when trimming. Trim slightly, not too much.ย
While the eyebrows are still groomed upward, use your eyebrow razor to carefully shave the underneath of the eyebrow, removing unwanted hair. The hair that does not get fully removed with the razor, use your tweezers to pluck.
Then, comb your eyebrows downward with the spoolie. Use your razor to shave off excess hair above your eyebrow. Don’t forget to shave in between your eyebrows and on your temples.
Once you have shaved above your eyebrow, use the tweezers to pluck any hair that did not fully shave off. Brush your brows back into their natural shape.
I recommend using a moisturized after shaving/grooming just like you would on your legs. I love using a Cetaphil moisturizer because I find it soothing on the skin.
Take your time with grooming and save money by waxing less!
