The Best Way to Travel the World

November 3, 2018

To say I love to travel is an understatement. So far, I’ve been to over 45 states, and more than 6 different countries. I admit, I’m extremely lucky to have parents who took me on vacation often, and if they’re reading, THANK YOU. But I also have found the BEST way to travel the world, at an affordable price.

So are you ready? It’s not rocket science. It’s CRUISING.

Now before I get on to why cruising is the way to go in my opinion, let me give you a short list of some countries you can cruise to. Just to name a few, you can cruise to Alaska, Bahamas, Mexico, Canada, Jamaica, Cuba, and Hawaii.

So, why do I think cruising is the best way to travel the world? Well, to start, cruising allows you to visit multiple destinations within days or a week! If you were to do this on your own, it would cost a fortune for plane tickets, car rentals, food, board, excursions, and expenses. On a cruise, your food, entertainment, board, and destination cost are all included in one price. Yes, you could add additional costs by going on excursions and buying food off of the ship, but there are ways around this.

Your best bet is to do research before you go, plan things to do once your off the ship, and if you can, try to eat most of your meals on the ship. This will save you a lot. Excursions booked through the cruise ship itself will cost you a fortune, most of them. Although some cruise excursions may be worth it, if you research before you go, most of the time you can make your own day trip outside of the cruise line.

I’ve traveled by plane. I’ve traveled by car. And I’ve traveled by cruising. My favorite vacations and travel experiences have come from cruising.

XOXO
