We always talk about makeup, skincare, and products we put on our skin. But, what about the tools we use along with these products? The tools you use on your skin and for your makeup are almost just as important if not more important!!
I have several beauty tools that I use daily, weekly, and monthly, that I couldn’t live without. (I know that’s dramatic, but these are great tools).
Tinkle Razors – These razors are the best way to maintain your eyebrow shape between waxings, shave your face to get rid of peach fuzz, or shave your upper lip. These razors I use 2-3 times before disposing of them. I love to use them for peach fuzz and my eyebrows. I find I don’t have to wax my eyebrows as much when I use these in-between waxing. You can also use these for an at-home derma-planing session. It gently removes the top layer of skin, hair, and gunk!
Beakey Blender – These beauty blenders are my go-to! I used to spend $20+ on the original beauty blender because I thought it was the best on the market. WRONG. These blenders are just as good, and way more affordable! I also like to switch my beauty blender for a new one sooner rather than later due to bacteria build-up. I want to make sure my sponge is always clean. These ones wash up nicely with my Purity face wash, but I usually replace them monthly.
Brush cleaning pad – This is one of those beauty items that you don’t know your missing until you get one. You lay the pad in the sink and swirl your brush around on the pad. The textures of the pad help to deep clean your brushes and get all of the makeup out.
Blackhead extractor – It may be TMI- but sometimes you have blackheads that are stubborn. This tool helps to pop them right out. I also love Biore strips!
Washcloths – This seems so simple, but I LOVE to use washcloths to gently wash my face. Some will say this is a bad idea, but I swear by it. I wash my face like normal with my hands, but at the very end, I gently use a washcloth to remove the face wash. I find that this helps remove any excess makeup and dead skin, leaving my skin soft. I like to use the Target brand washcloths.
Mini Beauty Scissors – These little scissors are great for trimming your eyebrows in between waxings. I like to comb my eyebrows upward and trim them a tiny bit. They also work great for trimming your hair or split ends.
I hope you learned a new tip or trick! These beauty tools are worth picking up. Let me know your thoughts if you purchase them. Find me on Instagram @cierrarobinblogs.
