Hey ladies! Have you ever heard of a Derma Roller? If not, listen up! This could be a game-changer for your skin.
Derma rolling has many benefits for your skin. Another word for derma rolling is micro-needling. This is a treatment you can get at a spa, but it will cost a fortune. Instead, you can get SDARA Skincare’s Derma Roller for only $24!
So, what is a Derma Roller and why use one?
A derma roller is a roller type tool with tons of teeny tiny needles on it. It sounds scary, but it’s not. The tiny needles are SO small. Derma rollers have many benefits. For one, using a derma roller before applying your skincare allows your skin to better absorb the skincare.
Another reason to use a derma roller is to smooth the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and scars. A derma roller tricks your skin into thinking theirs a wound, and therefore, creates new, fresh skin. This is why it’s great for scarring!
Now before you go using this tool, you need to know how to safely and effectively use and clean this tool.
To use the derma roller, start with fresh clean skin. You do not want to use the roller on dirty skin. Once the skin is clean and dry place the derma roller on your skin verticle OR horizontally starting from the outside of your face and working in. Roll the derma roller with light pressure. This should not hurt. If you are going to change direction, lift the derma roller up before changing direction.
It’s VERY important you do not slide the derma roller on your face, you could cause scratches. Roll the derma roller back and forth on your problem areas, avoiding the eye area. Derma rollers have been used by many to reduce scars and promote new skin. If you are interested in seeing before and after pictures, there are plenty online!
Lastly, to clean your derma roller, place the roller in a bowl of antiseptic or alcohol. Let sit for 30 minutes and place on a towel to air dry.
