I love trying out new products. As a teenager, I started getting acne and wanted to cover it up. I think every girl wants their skin to look its best. So I began watching youtube videos about makeup, skincare, and everything in between. I’ve learned a lot about my skin and makeup in general.

Today I want to share with you my favorite makeup products because they are worth trying. If I can help someone feel more comfortable and confident in the skin they have, I’ll be happy. Obviously, my favorites are always changing, but most of these products I’m sharing are my holy grail products that I’ve purchased over and over.
Recently, I found a primer that I think is actually worth it. I’m loving Tatcha’s primer “The Silk Canvas”. This product is marketed as a protector from your makeup! I love the feel of this primer, it goes on smooth and does a good job of evening out my skin and filling pores.
I have two foundations that I LOVE. I’ve tried probably over 15 different foundations from high end to low end. The only two I recommend are Estee Lauders Double Wear and L’Oreals Pro Glow. The Estee Lauder foundation stays on ALL DAY. It lasts like no other foundation I’ve ever tried. It also stays matte for me in hot weather. The L’Oreal foundation I like better in the winter time because it gives you a healthy glow even if your skin is suffering from the weather. The L’Oreal is definitely a more reasonable price but I totally think the Estee Lauder foundation is worth splurging for.
After foundation, I love using my Tarte Shape Tape concealer for under my eyes. Everyone and their mother loves this concealer, and there is a reason, its good, like really really good. If you’re not ready to splurge on concealer, I also love the Maybelline fit me concealer. I use this one for blemishes.
Both my foundation and concealer I apply with my favorite beauty sponge, the Real Techniques complexion sponges. Yes, I’ve tried the beauty blender and all the colors. I still like Real Techniques sponges better. I also feel better about throwing them away more often.
For powder, I 100% recommend the Laura Mercier louse transparent setting powder. I find that this holds my makeup in place, doesn’t crease, and helps my skin stay matte without looking cakey. What more could you ask for in a powder? I apply all of my powder products with Morphe brushes. The two I use are the Morphe E51 for face powder and the Morphe E4 for blush/bronzer. I also love the real techniques brushes, which are a lot more affordable!
I have two blushes I use basically religiously. The first is Hourglass ambient lighting blush in the color Diffused Heat. My second favorite is the NARS powder blush in the color Orgasm.
If you’re still reading this, you rock. This is a long one! Up next, my favorite bronzer for years has been Hoola by Benefit. I love this bronzer for everything. Contouring, warming up around the hairline, jawline, anywhere. You can even use this on your eyes in the crease to give some definition. It doesn’t look muddy on my skin tone.
For eyes, I like using Maybelline define a line, Black eyeliner. I don’t have a huge preference on eyeliner, as long as its a roll up one and black. But, mascara. I will only use L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise. I LOVE this mascara! If you haven’t tried it, you need to get it. I find that I like it better 3-4 days after I’ve opened it because then it’s a little thicker consistency.
Lastly, lips! I love using a lip liner because I have small lips. I don’t overline too much but just outlining the lips makes them more prominent. I love the Jordana lip liners. My favorite color is Rock and Rouge. I also LOVE the makeup forever lip liner in 3C, but mine I currently left somewhere. For an everyday color, I love the Dior Lip Glow in light pink. It feels almost like a chapstick but gives a gorgeous tint to the lip.

So many freaking goodies. I personally love the Tape Shape concealer and Estee Lauder foundation. The UD De-slick is a must for me.
